Chef Bill's Chili con Queso

One large brick Velveeta cheese
1.5 pounds ground chuck
8-10 whole green onions
20 oz. jar medium salsa
Hot pepper powder to taste

In covered saucepan, cut Velveeta into 3/4" high chunks and melt on very low heat, stirring occasionally to prevent burning.

Brown and chop meat, like you would for sloppy Joes, in a skillet and drain off fat.

Mince whole green onions as small as possible, using entire onion.

Mix all ingredients in the saucepan and stir.
