The Gin & Tonic
Tanqueray Malacca Gin
Martini & Rossi Extra Dry Vermouth
Schweppes Tonic Water
Fresh seltzer
Fresh lime
Lime oil (Williams-Sonoma)
Ice
Fill a tall glass halfway with ice. Then pour in the gin just under the top of the ice with a splash of vermouth. Add 1 drop of lime oil then squeeze a wedge of lime into the glass, run the lime around the rim, then add the lime to the drink. Fill one half the remainder with tonic, then fill with seltzer, slowly stirring as you pour.
